Refund policy

We offer a 14-day return policy. This means you have 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it: unworn, unused, with all tags attached, and in its original packaging. Please note that for hygiene reasons, opened items cannot be returned (see Section 312g Paragraph 2 No. 3 of the German Civil Code). You will also need the receipt or other proof of purchase.

If you cancel this contract, you are also obligated to return any extras, gifts, or bonuses (e.g., free items) received in connection with the purchase. If returning a gift is not possible (e.g., because it has already been used or is damaged), you are obligated to compensate us for its value at the regular retail price.

To initiate a return, you can contact us at info@lumicat.de, initiate the return in your customer account, or use this cancellation form. Please note that returns must be sent to a different address, which you will receive after submitting your cancellation request.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to ship the package. Items returned to us without a prior return request will not be accepted.

Damage and Problems
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can assess and resolve the issue.

 

Exceptions / Items Not Eligible for Return
Certain items cannot be returned, e.g., Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants), custom-made items (e.g., special orders or personalized items), and personal care products (e.g., beauty products) are not eligible for return. We also do not accept returns of hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about a specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of sale items or gift vouchers.

 

Exchanges
Returning the item you received is the quickest way to get the item you want. If the return is accepted, you can purchase the new item separately.

 

European Union – 14-day right of withdrawal
Notwithstanding the above, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days without giving any reason if the goods are shipped to the European Union. As described above, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it: unworn, unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or other proof of purchase.

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund has been approved. If approved, you will receive an automatic refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
