Frequently Asked Questions About Press-Ons

How do I know if the sizes will fit me?

No stress with measuring! ✨ Each of my sets comes as a full-size set with 30 nails in 13 or 15 different sizes. This means you get two to four pieces of each size. Whether you have rather narrow or wider nail beds – the right size for each of your fingers is guaranteed to be included. You simply put them on briefly before gluing them. Easy, right?

If you want to measure precisely beforehand, you can find the sizes & lengths per shape here.

What's the best way to apply press-on nails?

I include a Prep-Kit and instructions with every set.

  1. Select and prepare suitable press-ons
  2. For better durability: Keep nails short and file them
  3. Push back cuticles
  4. Gently roughen the natural nail (do not file it thinner)
  5. Degrease with the alcohol wipe (super important!)
  6. Choose and apply the appropriate adhesive tab (*)
  7. Press the press-on firmly at a 45° angle for 10-20 seconds – done!

For the perfect look, also check out my detailed guide on applying press-ons.

(*) Alternatively, you can also use liquid nail glue. Simply apply a little to your natural nail and press-on, press down, and you're done.
If you want to reuse your nails, I recommend not using this method (due to glue residue on the press-ons).

Nail Glue vs. Adhesive Tabs – Which is better?

That depends entirely on how long you want to wear the look! ✨

Adhesive tabs: Perfect for eternity! Since you can easily peel off (or twist off) the adhesive residue, the press-ons remain intact and you can reuse them as often as you like and as long as they still look good to you. ♻️

Nail glue: For a super strong hold (up to 2 weeks!). But be careful: removal requires more patience, and the adhesive residue can usually only be gently removed from the press-on with a nail drill. This means they are more intended for a one-time wow effect.

How do I best prepare my natural nails?

To ensure everything stays put, take a moment for prep:

  1. File: Shape your natural nails. For perfect adhesion, file/clip your natural nails to be rather short.
  2. Cuticles: Gently push them back (for that clean look!).
  3. Roughen: Very lightly (!) mattify the nail surface. Do not file it thinner!
  4. Cleaning: Thoroughly clean with the cleansing wipe.
  5. Let’s go: Apply press-ons and you're ready! ✨

What's the cleaning cloth for? (Degreasing)

This is an important step for durability! ✋🚫 Use the alcohol wipe to remove dust and grease from your nails. The adhesive tabs (or nail glue) will only stick properly on a completely "clean" nail. So: don't touch your nails with your fingers after cleaning!

How long do the press-ons last?

With proper preparation, your press-ons can last a good 1 to 2 weeks. 💅✨

With adhesive tabs: Great for 5-7 days or just for an event. If an adhesive tab comes loose, simply replace it with a new one. However, I recommend completely replacing the tabs after 1 week at the latest.

With nail glue: If you prepare them thoroughly, the nails will last up to 14 days. But beware: I do not recommend nail glue if you want to reuse your nails.

Reusability: Primarily possible with adhesive tabs. The nails themselves are super robust, thanks to our 6-Layer-Gel-Cushion-Technology! How often you can wear them depends on how much you use them in everyday life. Treat them like jewels, not tools! 💎 Then they will last forever.

Do acrylics damage my natural nails?

In a nutshell: No! As long as you don't forcefully tear them off (please never do that!), your natural nails will remain healthy. The secret lies in gentle removal with warm water and oil.

Are the nails reusable?

Yesss! ♻️ Since each of my sets contains high-quality press-ons with ultra-thin nail technology, you can wear them again and again with proper care. After gently removing the nails, simply carefully remove any adhesive residue (use the rosewood stick to poke and "twist off") and they are ready for the next round. See also my detailed instructions on gentle removal.

Can I do everything with the nails? (Sports, showering, etc.)

Absolutely! Whether you're at the gym, washing your hair, or typing on your laptop – if they're applied correctly, they'll stay put. Only with extreme stress (like opening cans with your fingernails) should you be careful. Treat them like jewels, not tools! 💎

Can I shorten or file the nails?

Yes, you can easily file and adjust your press-on nails ✨

For example, you can simply file away the small "nub" at the tip – that's there due to the production process (it always bothers me too, which is why I usually file my nails either before or directly after applying them). You can also file the sides narrower if you're between two sizes, and the length can also be shortened.

Important: Always file carefully and neatly. Coarse or messy filing can cause the design – especially with cat-eye or effect finishes – to chip more quickly. Your nails are already sealed (topcoat), so it's best to only use a fine nail file (e.g., 240 grit). Avoid coarse files (low grit number).

Otherwise: Enjoy the length! 💅

What if a design is sold out?

As I create everything by hand myself, capacities are limited. If your favorite is gone, feel free to write to me or activate notifications. I regularly restock, which I also announce on TikTok, Instagram & Facebook!
